About Little Angels

Little Angels opened its doors on 3rd May 2005, initially as a day-care facility for children with special needs. Following a meeting in September 2005 with the Perpetual Care Trust, Thea Vermaas, the homes founder, proposed that Little Angels become a permanent care facility managed by house parents.

The Trust agreed and approved funding allowing Little Angels to take on children with mental
and physical disabilities on a permanent basis. Little Angels accepted its first three permanent residents on 1st December that same year.

We now have 12 children living permanently in the house, as well as three children who are cared for during the day and after school.

While our children may be limited physically or emotionally, we strive to do our best and make sure that they receive the love and attention that will enable them to enjoy a good quality of life and maximise their potential.
